Hello! My name is Val.

I was born and raised right here in Vancouver, WA. This community has always been home to me, and it’s a big part of why I enjoy working with local businesses and helping them grow.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Digital Technology & Culture from Washington State University Vancouver, where I really leaned into my love for creativity, media, and how technology connects people. While studying, I discovered just how powerful social media can be when it’s done with intention, strategy, and personality.

I’ve always been drawn to cameras, design, and storytelling. Over the years, that interest turned into hands-on experience creating content, editing videos, and learning what actually performs online. Through consistent posting and experimenting with trends, I’ve helped grow multiple social media accounts to hundreds of thousands of followers and created videos that reached millions of views across platforms.

As I continued building my skills, I found that what I enjoyed most wasn’t just the numbers. It was helping brands feel confident in how they show up online. Clean visuals, engaging videos, and content that feels authentic can make a huge difference, especially for small and local businesses.

That’s why I started Couve Media. I wanted to take what I’ve learned and use it to support the community I grew up in. Helping local businesses get noticed, connect with their audience, and build a social media presence they’re proud of.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me checking out new coffee shops with my fiancée or having a drink at a local pub.
